I was just wondering, how do you know if you twist the knob far enough to get to the next frame? My first role of film was a complete fail, all my pictures were overlapping and i was curious to see if there was some sort of trick to make sure overlapping doesn't happen for all my pictures
Thanks for your help! :)

If you had the standard square mask in the camera, but had the film counter window arrow pointing at the 16, then the negatives will overlap as you described.
For the square mask, the film counter window arrow should be pointing at the 12.

Maybe they changed the design, but on mine there is a little red window on the back of the camera that shows you the frame numbers that are printed on the film backing. You just advance until the next number shows up in the window.
edit- if that won't work/you don't have that little window, I think you're supposed to turn it like 30-32 clicks for 6x6 and 35 if you're shooting 6x9?
not sure with what film you are shooting with.
if it is a 120 one you just have to look through the red window at the back of the camera.
when you wind up the film you will see numbers appearing, they mark your frame.
hope this helps
Maybe it has something to do with the fact that it's really just a toy camera after all.
