Ok so my dark circles are HORRIBLE!! They're dark purple and kind of red, and are really big, like swoop down and out. I've tried everything to conceal them but then it just looks caked on. I can't go buy anything right now, so what are some good techniques to cover them up with what I have? I have a lot of tan colored stuff, and one orange based cover stick. Also; they're genetic, so putting cucumbers or spoons on them won't work. I've tried already :(

Just so you know, dark circles are very hard to completely conceal without looking caked on, but you should be able to make them a lot less noticeable with correctly applying the right products.
First thing is that when you cover dark circles you never put on dark toned or you skin tone concealer, it will just make them darker. You want to use a white concealer, preferably one with an illuminator in it ( I love Rimmel's liquid concealer/illuminator! There is a brush built into the tube but I never use it). Using a light toned concealer/illuminator, with reflect the light and make your dark circles lighter. To apply I just lightly tap (do not rub!) small amounts on under my eyes with my ring finger until it's blended and I think it's covered enough. If you use foundation make sure you blend in small amounts your foundation with your concealer. If it ends up looking cakey just take a cosmetic sponge and pat it under your eyes.
Hope I helped!
Well i use a really amazing method using concealer every morning. First of all i use a very light weight and light color Mary Kay brand concealer. I put 3 dots 1 right under my eye, 1 on the bone ending my eye, and 1 just above my cheek. I then take my ring finger and slide all the concealer to the outside of my eye, This is the BEST method i have ever used to conceal dark circles. Dont use tan colored stuff, use more of a light weight and light colored base if you have any. The light weight formula will help it not look so caked on :)
good luck hope i helped!
Hello,
Have you tried Estee Lauder's eye illuminator? works wonders on dark circles as soon as you put it on. it is both skin care and eye concealer in one. it is around 50$ but it s the best! next time you are in a retail store stop by estee counter and let a beauty advisor apply it on you :)
