You shouldn't have to impress a guy to make him like you.

sorry for my judgmental response, eh, you know what? No. I was speaking my mind.

I'm not here to judge. but I was in your situation a few years back. I was 13 and i liked a guy that was 16 and I was always trying to impress him by liking the things he liked, acting mature and dressing cute and preppy. But I noticed that I looked foolish. You might not want to IMPRESS him by changing yourself, you can Impress him by being yourself. I know it sounds clique but he's 17 and he'll be more into girls his age than 13 year old. even if you're gonna be 14 already. You should go more for 15 or 16. Also, you might be into him now but maybe later you'll be into another guy. You can always change your mind so if you want to go for it. Just go for it. BUT, have fun at the same time and don't take it too serious. Like i said, you can always change your mind about him.

I would say just be yourself and just let it grow from there. Be sweet, friendly and nice. But if you want to really speed things up, try to find out what he likes and dislikes. What kind of girls does he like etc... Try to be interested on things he's interested on. But I will still vouch for being yourself, because there's no point in being interested in someone and going thru all that effort if he doesn't like the real you.

Hunny you really need to think about what you're doing. If he's a nice non-abusive guy he wouldn't want anything to do with a 14 y.o. When you're 17 do you think you would want to date a 14 y.o? And let's think of this. what kind of 17 year old would want anything to do with a 13 year old?
