I have a Eurail pass that covers Portugal, and I know that the AP and IC trains require seat reservations for Eurail holders. Problem is, I can't figure out how to reserve a seat. The site (www.cp.pt) will only let me buy a new ticket, not just reserve one.
So, can I reserve a ticket online? Or do I need to do it in person at a Portuguese station?

The only national train websites that allow you to make the reservation only on-line when you're using a pass are Italy and Germany. You can go through a third party like Rail Europe http://www.raileurope.com/us/shopping/pass_finder.... or just make the reservation at the station. Note that there will be a 5 euro fee for each reservation on an Alfa Pendular or Intercity (IC) train when you're using the pass.
