I have followed the instructions provided by YAHOO HELP, http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/mail/yahoomail/se... and it DOES NOT WORK! There is NO option to select Yahoo Email, only "Outlook Express" and "Windows Live Mail". I know it can be done... I've done it before using that procedure.... However, I have reformatted my computer and have tried this method twice and it will not work. There used to be a program you could download from Yahoo that didn't include the toolbar or messenger... does it still exist? I can't find it. I don't care how it's done!!! Someone please just tell me what to do!
Update:The instructions on the link I posted suggest installing Yahoo Messenger w/Toolbar. I have done this twice and Yahoo is still not an option in "Internet Options"

Try this and see if it works for you. It usually does.
Yahoo doesn't normally appear as a choice on the drop down list -----cause it's web based mail, and not actually installed on your computer.----Sooooo-- you have to force the issue--this way.
Since Yahoo doesn't appear on the list, as one of the choices-----you will have to download---(or RE-download)--- Messenger---all of it----and that will put Yahoo on the list.
Now go back (tools-internet options-programs) and you will able to select Yahoo---apply and ok.
Later, you can remove Messenger---if you don't really want it---without affecting the setting.
