A couple days ago, before going to P.E, I turned off my phone(as i usually do). I turned my phone back on and the screen wouldn't light up, the keys at the bottom still lit up, and i could still get calls, but i couldn't see anything. I called the nice people at T-mobile and they said they could send me a new one right away, but the technician recommended that I transfer all of my photos, videos, and music before I use the new one.
When i tried to plug in my phone to the laptop via USB connection, nothing popped up and asked me if I wanted to transfer any files, as the technician said it would.
I searched up how to transfer files from the Galaxy SIII and someone said that i had to pull down the notification bar and allow the laptop to access my files, problem is, i can't see the screen..
Does anyone know how to transfer files from the Galaxy SIII, considering the condition the phone is currently in?
....I'm also very aggravated at the fact that everyone decided to text me after my phone broke...over the past 2 days I've received about 40 texts, but of course i cannot read them >:(
Update:I don't currently have a memory card in it..

If all your pics are saved on the memory card just take the card out or go to a t mobile store and ask them if they have a phone transfer data machine. Sprint has a data transfer machine when I get a new phone they hook the new and old phone and they transfer all my contacts, pics, and videos to my new phone. Just FYI when you get your new phone back up everything to a micro sd card if anything happens to your phone again just take out your memory card and put it on your new phone.
