i bought a 10 dollar itunes gift card and i clicked on reedem and typed in the number on the back and in the corner of itunes by my e-mail adress it says $10.00 but when i go to purchase something it still asks for a credit card and doesnt give me the option of even using the gift certificate

how can i use it to purchase a game?
