I'm planning to submit an idea for a comic series to few publishers. I know that most of them ask that my submission include a complete synopsis. My number one choice is Dark Horse. Here are their writer submission guidelines: http://www.darkhorse.com/Company/Submissions#write...
I've got the complete story and I know that I can sum it all up in five pages. The problem is they're asking that I indicate issue breaks. For one, the way I'm planning it, the series could last for dozens of issues. I don't think I'd be able to list every issue break. Also, I haven't written all of the scripts for the series, so I don't yet know where in the story every break is going to occur.
Does anyone have an example of the kind of synopsis they're asking for? That would really be helpful. Any other advice you can provide would be good too.
Thanks in advanced.

You don't need to cover every issue break, just give them a taste of your best ideas for various issues.
Here's a sample of one that actually worked: http://homepage.mac.com/dmcduffie/site/Deathlokpit...
Although, you should update yours with indentations and bullets for issue breaks to make it look nicer and easier to read.
Below is a good general source.
