without medication? I've tried walking, and laying in bed. It's too painful to run. I dont like taking pills in general, so I dont want to take them due to some pain, but at times the pain seems debilitating, and I dont want to tell folks y I'm out of it. Thanks for any help u may b able to provide.

Check out the recent question, "My parents are trying to force me to be on birth control pills because my cramps are making me miss school"
I gave an answer there, and here's one of the things I said:
"Here's a home method that might be worth trying: When your cramps hit, take your pain pills, and then get out the vacuum cleaner (preferably the kind with a motor on the floor part and a bag on the handle). Vacuum the carpets for at least fifteen minutes. Often, the vibrations of the machine combined with your mild pushing, pulling, and bending will ease your menstrual flow."
I too have suffered from menstrual cramps in the previous. I nevertheless get them each and every now and then. the in elementary words element that has helped me replaced right into a prescription from my medical examiner and the discomfort med replaced into vioxx. i imagine that they took it off the marketplace, in spite of the undeniable fact that the non-prescription for that's aleve. I many times take 2 and it very last for about 8 hours yet I take yet another one in between time. The Aleve alongside with a warm towel(not a heating pad) might want to do the trick. have self belief me, I had cramps so undesirable that I neglected paintings and college. i'm not that a lot older than you. i wish that it quite works. i know the discomfort you're in~!
My best friend gets so bad cramps that she throws up and can't even do anything other than sleep. She probably knows how you feel :p... Heating pads help! Take a bath! Heat on your uterus soothes it and stops it from contracting which is why you get cramps. Bananas are also supposed to reduce cramps. I swear by heat though, it always helps me and it helps my best friend!!
Walking would make it worse (walked threw school all day had so Advil on me ) a hot shower and bath and bananas and heating pads but i hate swallowing pills to but they help so much these are all short term but the bath and heating pads are the best
