it can be complicated to teach and it requires patience of a high aptitude but it can be done. Firstly you need to buy a budgie ball (small ball, available anywhere usually with a bell inside) some millet treat or any other type of nice thing as a reward. then let the bird play with its new toy to see if it likes it or not. if it doesn't like it then it is its useless and training wont work.if it does like it then start by throwing the ball a short distance away and encouraging the bird to get it. normally the bird will just stare at you with interest as to why your throwing the ball and making a lot of noise. just keep throwing the ball and bringing it back till the bird goes over to pick it up with its beak. git the bird a bit of millet at this point. then continue from there on:)
