For the past two weeks I've been having to get up at 5:30 am for high school, but that's not it.. I'd always be busy with a shitload of homework (hate honors classes) and have stay up until 12 or maybe even 1 AM in the morning... So I usually only get 4 hours a sleep a day... It just feels like I never have enough time to sleep, because I'm always busy.. I slept over at my friends yesterday, and again only got 4 hours of sleep.. but I'll only have a couple of hours tonight too! and the weekend flies by soo quickly.. What are some tips of getting more sleep? I caught a cold and I don't feel like myself. I'm always so drowsy, and can't ever pay attention. I even noticed how I lost A LOT of weight.. I'm down to 105 pounds and I'm 5'7 and bags are starting to form under my eyes and wont go away! What are some ideas to cure this problem?

It makes you tempermental, and affects the endocrine system or hormone secretion. Lack of concentration, sore eyes, flinching muscles or tics and spasm. Just make the time for sleep.
Severe sleep deprivation can seriously make you hallucinate. People will pretty much go insane, no exaggeration, with no sleep. Some people can go on 4 hours of sleep, but those people are very rare. If you feel awful, you have to sleep more. No one expects you to be active 20+ hours in a day. Something has to give. If you have to drop a class, then so be it, it's not the end of the world. Not sleeping enough is terrible for your health.
105 lbs would be fine on someone 5 feet tall. That sounds extremely underweight for 5'7". You're putting too much pressure on yourself. You're a teenager, relax a little.
wouldn't say i know loads but you need sleep to give your body a chance to rest. Not a major suprise your feeling ill if you haven't had much rest your immune system will find it harder to cope with illness. I don't think there is much of a cure apart from to make time to sleep, if your feeling drowsy having something with caffiene always helps. I'd still say you need sleep though
