How is ecstasy a date rape drug?
So I just met a guy recently and he's inviting me to go to a rave. This'll be my first time, and he said he'll let me try ecstasy once. I told my friends, and they told me I shouldn't go alone with him? What could go wrong? It's not like I'm going to drink or get drunk, and I heard ecstasy only makes you feel happy and enjoy the lights and music.
People are telling me it is a date rape drug, but I googled it and didn't see it like that. I only read that the effects is it'll make me overheat, overdose, and chew on a lot of stuff?

Its not a rape drug. It lowers your inhibitions so you would do things you normally wouldn't do.
There are a few date rape drugs. Alcohol is probably the most often used date rape drug. However, Rohypnol and GHB can also be used as date rape drugs. Ecstacy alone probably isn't used too much for date raping, neither is marijuana.
