how much do you pay for your car insurance per month?
Hey, a little bit about myself. I'm 19, undergrad freshman. My cousin just graduated from berkeley and is leaving the country so he's giving me his 2001 Lexus IS300 (shitty MPG i know). I know that as a teen, insurance is expensive. I found Geico quote for $141 a month. How much are you guys paying? (Preferably someone in my age group so I can compare). Also, are you paying as an individual or under your family plan? I am paying for my own phone bill, own credit card bill, and my own car now so cheapest is my number one priority. Anyone paying less? Which insurance company is best, in terms of cheaper pricing relative to their service? Thanks!

Can you find someone your same age, same driving record, living in the same state, with the exact same car and carrying the same collision, comprehensive and liability (deductibles and coverages both) as you?
Didn't think so. All of that would have to be true in order to make a direct, apples-to-apples comparison.
Just get quotes from all the major insurance companies (be sure to keep the coverages and deductibles the same so you can compare), go with the cheapest one. Being included on your family's coverage will be cheaper due to multi-car discounts, which pretty much everyone offers.

Nice car, 2jz is a monster of a motor. RWD or AWD? I'm 20 I pay about $170 a month for my car under my mom from state farm. I have 4 speeding tickets for 15 over, no accidents, so on. Only company I've had so I cant compare.
