I want to put a lift on my trucks. I'm told suspension is the cheapest, so that will be my route if that is true. First car in question is a 2001 ranger 2x4. The truck is boringly short, so I want to lift it. Is there a specific full-suspension lift kit for these trucks, and how much would a shop approximately charge with parts to put it in? Or is it relatively easy enough to put in myself? Also, would any auto shop that deals with suspension do that, or do I need to find a specialty place? This truck also has an issue with hauling. I put 20 bags of mulch (aprox. 400lbs) in it and it almost sagged right to the ground. while my other much older, smaller, and way more shot truck holds over 800lbs like it isn't there. Is this my leaf springs? truck sits fine with nothing in it. should I replace the springs or do one of those add-a-leafs?
Second truck(the decrepit more powerful one!!) is a 91 sonoma 2x4. I put some bigger tires on it hoping that would lift the truck a bit, and it did, but only in the back. but that's because I couldn't put a tire size to match the back on the front because it doesn't clear the wheel wells. But even then I don't think it would raise the front up like I'd like it. So, I definitely don't want to raise the back at all, because it is actually higher than I anticipated. Is there a kit for a front or back lift I can buy for this truck? I'm assuming all a lift kit is is a firmer and longer spring, and bigger strut. But I do have another s10 (92) that I'm considering doing a full suspension lift on it too because it has really nice big tires but looks awkward with the stock suspension, and would look way better lifted a couple inches. So would I have to buy 2 full s10 kits, and only use the front parts for the 91'?
Thank you all in advance

I saw on 20/20 once where a dude used hockey pucks.
certainly, it truthfully relies upon on personal decision and what your intentions with the automobile are. I stay in Colorado, and take my Jeep offroad when I get the probabilities, and it is nevertheless inventory, to be able to work out a number of those mall crawlers with wide lifts and massive tires which have not ever considered a spec of dust is an insult to me, yet everyone has diverse flavor. I in simple terms imagine it is ineffective to spend that a lot money and under no circumstances take advantage of the aspects. on the different part, i in my opinion imagine that diminished autos are also hideous, even if it may serve a objective, if the truck is a minimum of quick. i don't like some thing that scrapes the floor or makes use of airbags, yet so long because it nevertheless sits intense sufficient off the floor to take p.c. bumps in simple terms nice, even if it is going to have some ability to lower back up a low stance. there is not some thing worse for a diminished truck like, say an S10, than for it to nevertheless have the 4 cylinder less than the hood, except it is also a 4x4 truck that is diminished. i in my opinion favor function over type, and for that, I favor lifted autos, 2WD or 4wd, because they're useable (for me anyhow).
I don't understand...
