I e-filed my taxes earlier today using Taxact, but after filing them I realized that I entered my daughters birthday incorrectly. I accidentally entered the wrong day. I entered 12/15/2005 instead of 12/14/2005 (my other daughters birthday is on the 15th). Can I e-file it again with the correct date or do I have to wait for an IRS letter? Thank you.
Update:I just got this e-mailed "The TaxACT Electronic Filing Department has received notice that the Federal electronic return for J*** A****** was accepted by the Internal Revenue Service on 02/01/2013. Does this mean that the IRS accepted the return as is, or will they find the mistake after processing it? Thank you all for your time.

If your return is accepted, don't worry about it. If it gets rejected due to the birthdate, just refile - if it's rejected, it's like it never was sent.
As others stated, that should lead to an automatic and immediate reject by the IRS. Taxact should notify you that the IRS rejected your submission. Then just correct it within taxact and resubmit.
that happens to me too, and irs reject your taxes b tomorrow and just go in basic information and fix it and re send it, they will accept you case b sunday or monday
They shouldn't accept them and you will be able to fix it.
