I seriously cant respect my parents ?
I do not respect my parents and i dont think i ever will. I dont look up to them. They are so controlling and are always calling me if im out late which never stops. I am 23 years old and trying to do my own thing but they are miserable and not making it easier. When i tell my father how i feel, he gets so defensive. I just want to live free. Is this so wrong ?? Idk what to do ?

At 23 it's time you had your own place away from home. As long as you remain in the parental home you will be treated as a child.
The reason why they do this is because they care about you. I know you find it annoying but if you become a parent and your child does this to you, you will understand how it feels. I used to be very rude with my father and I regret it. Now, I'm in better terms with him and it feels much better. :) Try to do a some things they tell you to do, like if they ask you to take out garbage, etc. Do that and see how the relationship between you and them goes. Perhaps they will start respecting you more that way, and mutual respect will form from you and them. =) Our parents have done so much for us, we realize that very little when we are caught up with the world--they deserve our respect.
Move out of the house already, you're an adult, you have that big of an issue with them, then leave and don't look back.
