I take a low hormone birth control, but lost my packet and did not take it for three days(weds-fri) about 2 and a half weeks ago. I continued on a new packet like it said, but started spotting/bleeding that following sunday. Now 15 days later, i am still bleeding and spotting. the second week was supposed to be my actual period dates. Is this just an irregular period from missing the bc or could there be a problem.

I would try and contact your doctor to see what the problem is. Honestly all i think you did was really mess up the balance of your hormones. after a month of being back on the pill and taking it the way you are suppose to then i think everything will go back to normal. you might even miss your next period. Its very important to not miss your pill. If you are sexually active be cautious and use protection till you are done with a whole pack because you might be able to get pregnant from missing a pill
The pills u take might mess up the hormone in ur body which will lead to irregular period rhythm. It takes a while for the amount of hormone go back to normal and have ur period regularly. I suggest u to stop taking this kind of pills and try other contraceptive methods that would not affect your health like this.
