If there is a major curve to one side, it can indicate a medical condition that is worth getting checked by a doctor. It isn't serious and may not be worth treating but that is for you and your doctor to decide on.
It may not be normal, but its natural. Don't worry about it. That's how it is and that's how it will stay. It will still fit in all the usual places and function normally. This curvature has a special name, but I have forgotten it. Some percentage of men have some form of curvature. Worry about more important things.
p.s. It's not a botched circumcision. It has to do with the fibrous layers inside. Uncircumcised men have this condition too.
Not usually....it can be a side affect of circumcision, though. Too much skin may have been removed from one side (compared to the other side...any foreskin removal is too much!). Having an uneven circumcision can definitely cause curvature. If you are circed, you can look into restoration which stretches the skin back down and it would take care of the curvature if that is the cause.
Ummm, actually, circumcisions VERY OFTEN cause penile curvature. This is not caused by only botched circumcisions, either....circs which are said to have gone perfectly by the Dr can often result in issues like curvature. The foreskin has purpose, and part of that is to allow for penile growth. When it is removed before the penis reaches it's full size, it is pretty easy to remove enough that causes erections to be too tight, curvature from slight variations in amount of skin removed from one side, or even buried penis. These are results from 'normal', not botched, circumcisions.
As for non-circ related curves, it is called PEYRONIE'S DISEASE and is basically a build up of scar tissue. Surgery can correct the issue.
