I have been unable to find anything online about this company, either good or bad. The do have a website, www.concordialoans.com, but anyone can make a website. They claim to be a brokerage company for loan investors.

A legitimate brokerage company should have hundreds if not thousands of hits in a google search
Do you really think a website that is only a week old and uses a fake address in their registry details has any chancel of being legit? http://whois.domaintools.com/concordialoans.com
There is NO city called Orlando, California and California zip codes start with "9" not "3"
Not to mention the phone number they list in the registry belongs to a company called Carpet Cleaning Experts, not a brokerage firm

This same company called me saying I had been approved for a 5,000 loan and that I needed to send in a 644.00 deposit because I did not have enough established credit. I asked them how could I be sure if they are even a reputable company, and all they could tell me was to go to the website and look at there reviews in the yellow pages. As you stated anyone can make a website and anyone can put something in the yellow pages. I googled the address to the company and I found nothing that gave any concrete evidence that this is a legitimate company at all.
I have talked to several friends and they have all stated that whenever you take out a loan you never have to pay any money up front. I say this company is a scam!!!
The fact that you can find nothing about the company should be a big red flag. Reputable and established companies will have a lot of hits on the internet when you Google them.
Do yourself a big favor and move on, I strongly suspect they are a scam.
I googled
concordialoans.com (i copied and pasted)
The site does not exist. Did you make a spelling mistake?
Why would it have the word loans in it if it's abrokerage site
The brokerage site is simply called condoria.com
Sounds like you are hitting a fake (imitation) website
My bank has several fake websites with similar names -scammers hope that people will fall for the wrong site
