They are not an agency - they are a school. Like any private school you pay tuition and get to take classes
All the schools are franchised and indiviually owned so just because one school in one city might be good, that has no bearing on your local school. Just because someone who went to their school in LA ended up becoming famous doesn't mean that someone else going to one of their schools in Colorado or Massachusetts, or wherever is going to become famous as well
Before you pay anything, ask to see the bios of the teachers at your particular school, as well as the type of jobs recent graduates from YOUR school have been cast on. Ask if you can speak with former students
Yes they are school. Very pricey and no school can guarantee success. I Truly believe they lead you to believe that they are needed to be big. Using pitchy tactics and hard sell options.
I also think they never turn down anyone.
They also use a tactic of sending ?? models some ok some worst to the local mall and approach any young people " saying things like you have that certain something" leading them to believe that they are a legit booking agency. They bring you into an office and explain yes they have it but they need to take classes and have their headshots take at FC.
They use the ploy of making people think the end ( the booking ) will happen first and not after 1000's of dollars worth of expenses later involve before you even see the first $$
Well it depends on how you look at it.
You go to classes once a week and pay like 100 bucks each class. when your done they set up jobs for you so you can get your foot in the door. they also do the pictures and everything for you. thats all included and they pretty much teach you everything you need to know like how to do your make-up for certain lighting and how to act/wear for a go-see.
Or you can go pay 1000's of dollars on getting your own pictures done and going through the hassal or finding your own jobs!
Is it expensive, yes! but alot of jobs are worth 100-250 and hour so it turns out good!
YESSS it is a scam.
they called me and then asked me to pay like 100 bucks
dontttttt go for it
