So I've found a 1992 Honda Accord for 2000. It has around 175,000 miles and:
- Clean Interior
- Power Windows and Doors
- Single Disc CD player (installed in Dec.)
- Automatic Transmission
- Working A/C and Heat
- New Brakes
- New Car Battery
- New Wind Shield Wipers
- New Master Cylinder
So - is it worth it to get a car with this many miles? What could/should I look at when I go to look at it (assuming I can't find a mechanic to look at it this quickly)?

With 175,000 miles there are many potential problems. Not necessarily that the car would have the problems, but those problems tend be the kind that come with age and wear. For example, one of the biggest potential problems with a high-mileage Honda is a worn timing belt. If the previous owner(s) hadn't replaced it at lease once or twice, the belt could break and destroy your engine.
For a car with this many miles, you should always have a mechanic look it over before you buy. Used cars are sold "as is". If you didn't find a problem before you bought, you can't get your money back. By then, it's too late.
Will they give you a warranty 30-90 days? Will they guaranty it will pass the state inspection?
I owned one in 92 and it was a good car but I only keep a car for 3yrs and this one is 15 yrs old.
Ask yourself...
How many more miles can I get out of this car? another 25,000?
How many miles do I drive a year? Will you get at least 2 yrs driving out of this car?
that is quite previous. yet honda are quite solid vehicles. I had an '80 5 that died after a pair years with over 150k miles. quite slightly any eastern vehicle contained in the '80's are quite solid. merely have a mechanic examine the engine.
the problem is that the engine starts giving problems around that milage.... most engines can go to 200,000 before big problems start so u culd only get 25,000 more miles out of it
