marriage problems PLEASE HELP?
This is my delima, I woke up this morning to find my husband on the couch asleep and when i woke him up he said I was calling out another mans name in my sleep. I do not remember any dream and i have assured him that there is no one else or do i want another man. But he is so hurt, I have said im sorry 1000 times today. He says he trust me but why take it to the extreme of getting this irate and even took off his wedding ring. There has never been any cheating with either of us so this is sooo unexpected. Please help serious answers only.

Wow just because you say another mans dream doesn't mean you are cheating. I dream of other men sometimes and there is no way in hell would I cheat on my husband. So just because you was sayen anothers mans name don't mean you are cheating. Have you ever thought maybe your husband was dreaming you sayen another mans name? Dreams are funny and some seen so real at times.
It sounds like there is some more problems here than just this. We are not responsible for our dreams or what happens during them and if your husband is reacting like a little kid to this then something tells me hes looking for any reason to avoid you. As far as you know he could have made this all up to cover up something he has done and is feeling really guilty about. But either way I truly sense something really wrong here beyond this but I cant put a finger on it since I dont know either of you. Sorry. If Im wrong here then please accept my deepest apology but I seriousily doubt I am
Well, I suppose that you could offer to take a lie detector test. But, I must say that you have other problems. People say lots of things while asleep, and reasonable people understand that. I'm afraid there is more going on than hubby just hearing names once. Good luck.
sweetheart he's just mad and hurt, give him a little time and he will get over it. just keep reassuring him that you love him and there's no one else you would ever think of in that way.

I hope you told him that at the time you were dreaming. if it is someone that maybe you both know then of course he would be upset as it would hurt even for me if i heard my artner calling out another womans name or even if he called me by another womans name. try talking to him and show him how much he does really mean to you. good luck with it girl.
People who are insecure in a relationship are usually hiding something of there own. Peoples dreams are just fantasy, sometimes you dream this just because. The mind place tricks on you.....
All you can do it let it go on your own end. You apologized, you're not committing adultery. The bigger fuss you make over it, the longer the situation will drag out. In time, he will let it go. He trusts you. That ultimately is what is most important.
In a non-threatening/aggressive way, ask him what you should do if he was the one having the same nightmare/ dream ... talk this thru together, maybe he'll come to his senses after a nice chat
