Multimedia as a major... jobs include..?
i've always wanted to be a graphic designer. that was my dream for like 3 years!... next year is my frst year in college and the college i am wanting does not have the major i want. it has multimedia which is close enough and i'm interested in it. but the thing is i have no idea what jobs i could get in the future,,, a lil help naming the feilds would be appreciated!

Multimedia is any combination of text, graphic art, sound, animation, and video delivered to you by computer or other electronic means. The college you're attending should have info on possible careers for each major, it's part of their job. Talk to your advisor and tell him/her that you're taking the Multimedia major, and want to know if you can specialize in graphic design, or perhaps take more graphic design courses as electives. Most college also have a career center with job info for your intended major, and even help in finding a job after college. Good Luck!
