O////O umm, is this normal?

A few months ago, I decided that I had to go to the bathroom before graduation. When got there, I noticed that the stalls were really low, meaning anyone could easily walk overt see exactly what you were doing. Well me being a shy person made it very difficult for me. Not to mention therewas a giant flock of girls rushing into the bathroom as well. So anyway, it was finally my time to go. When I finally got into the stall, I waited for a few minutes...but nothing was happening. At first, I thought that it was a normal reaction since almost nobody would be comfortable urinating in that condition. So I tried again, pushing as hard as I could, but this time, only a few trickles came out. At this point, I was assuming that I wouldn't be able to go (even thoughmy bladder was full), and decided to try later. Later, when I came back to the school, I tried again. Of course, therewas another flock of girls waiting to go too. So i went into the stall and decided to do it again. But before I could even start, it suddenly became quiet outside of the stall. I was kind of nervous because there's usually some group of people talking when I pee. So I decided to ignore the silence and try to go. Then thesame thing happened again: even though my bladderwas close to bursting, only a few squirts came out. Embarrassed, I decided to call it quits and waited till I came home to do my business, assuming that I couldn't go because of the awkward silence. Then a few weeks later, I had a doctors appointment, and of course, she wanted to get a urine sample from me. So she took me to the bathroom and waited outside the stall I was in. So I positioned the cup underneath me ready to go. But life took me by surprise; as much as I tried, I couldn't get anything into the cup. After a few minutes, my doctor just laughed and said "I guess I'll give you some privacy then." At that point, I was completely humiliated at my inability to urinate. Then, I asked myself a question 'Am I pee-shy???' I mean I thought that only happened to guys. Ever since then, I've been kinda uncomfortable peeing around others. Is this a sign of pee-shyness? Or is it just my natural shyness acting up? Please help me!

Update:

@Sticky: I think that's kind of like what I have. I get really embarrassed cause I feel uncomfortable when people hear me pee. (I'm such a loser >\\\\<)

I tried doing the faucet trick but it doesn't really help me. Don't know why.
