First off, I'm not bashing anyone's religion nor am I saying who is right and who isn't. I'm not atheist either. I just think religion has a lot to do with the world's problems. Since everyone believes in something different it stirs up so much conflict. There are so many religious wars it's beyond ridiculous. Who is right though? To be honest so many people claim their religion is right but how do you know for sure when there are soooo many others? I guess Faith would be the majority of the answers on here.

Disagree. People are the problem. Atheists fight wars and kill people just like Jews, Muslims, Christians, Hindus, Buddhists, etc. War and conflict is causes by someone wanting what someone else has, the desire for resources. Bad People use whatever means they can to fight their wars including using religion. Religion becomes a tool.
Many people would like to believe, that all religions are approved by god and lead to a good place. But a brief review of world history would testify to the truthfulness of the statement you made above. For instance, religion is often exploited by politicians for political gain. For example, during the nazi regime, the catholic church was used extensively by the nazi party as an instrument to gain the trust and control the masses of people into acceptance of nazi ideals. Now thats not to bash the catholic church, yet it cannot be ignored as a part of history. Furthermore, other religions actively take sides with wars between different countries, although members of the church may be found on both sides.
With that being said, that does not mean that there is no true religion left on the earth. The bible provides gods standards, which he wants humans to live by. The true religion would be the one that adheres to these lofty standards, and this would be evident in its members. Jesus spoke of this. Please read: Matt 7:15 - 20. To identify Christ true worshipers, one could look at several of the markers mentioned in the bible. For more information, please go to: http://www.watchtower.org/e/200803/article_03.htm
No. A despotic attempt to control other peoples thoughts and use religion for a ruse for doing this is neither logical or honest. Don't fall for the trap. That is not religion any more then other acts of Satanic submission are. Many cowards hide behind the skirts of religion including the Nazis, Muslims and KKK.
Lots of great religious leaders have been very spiritual and saintly (almost otherworldly, you could say), but what was so different about Jesus? The Bible says one thing set Jesus apart from every other person who has ever lived: He was both fully God and fully man. The Bible says, "For in Christ all the fullness of the Deity lives in bodily form" (Colossians 2:9).
In other words, Jesus wasn't just a godly person who possessed an extra measure of spirituality. Nor was He simply a great religious teacher who had unusual insight into God's will. Nor was He only someone with special spiritual powers who could do miracles. He was more than these—for He was God in human form. Think of it: Twenty centuries ago, the holy God of the universe stooped down, entered this sinful world, and became a human being!
Why did He do this? One reason is so we could know what God is like. The Bible says, "No one has ever seen God, but the one and only Son, who is himself God and is in closest relationship with the Father, has made him known" (John 1:18). And what do we learn about God when we look at Jesus? We see God's love—a love so strong, Christ was willing to go to the cross for us. We also see God's power over evil, for by His resurrection from the dead, Christ conquered sin and death and Hell and Satan.
But Christ also came to offer us the gift of eternal life. Death is not the end, for beyond is the joy of heaven for all who belong to Him. Have you responded to His love by opening your heart and life to Christ? Don't let another day go by without Him, but by faith commit your life to Him today.

Fully agree. Something you might find very interesting is this magazine for January entitled, "Is Religion a Force For Peace?" of Awake! http://download.jw.org/files/media_magazines/g_E_2... Download it as a PDF.
There is blind faith, but that is why religions are losing numbers in so many churches. There is faith that has been proven however, proof builds faith and makes people flock towards truth. When you research the encyclopedias of many different sorts and they support truth with historical fact, and concur with the Bible's timeline, one's faith can't help but grow stronger. When scientists do their best to prove creation wrong and only end up finding no other option but to see the incredibly complex science, even within a simple cell; and to see that there must be some sort of intelligent being out there that created us; it really does make your faith strong. To see how history agrees with the Bible in many aspects, seeing the ruins of Babylon today, how such a strategic area still has not been rebuilt in accord with what the Bible shows. God's promise still rings true of such an event as Babylon's fall.
“You have made a city a pile of stones, a fortified town a crumbling ruin, a dwelling tower of strangers to be no city, which will not be rebuilt even to time indefinite.” (Isaiah 25:2) What is this unnamed city? Isaiah may be referring to Ar of Moab—Moab has long been at enmity with God’s people. Or he may be referring to another, stronger city—Babylon.—Isaiah 15:1; Zephaniah 2:8, 9
Saddam Husein had goals of rebuilding it but never completed it, now he is dead.
"In 1983, Saddam Hussein started rebuilding the city on top of the old ruins (because of this, artifacts and other finds may well be under the city by now), investing in both restoration and new construction. He inscribed his name on many of the bricks in imitation of Nebuchadnezzar. One frequent inscription reads: "This was built by Saddam Hussein, son of Nebuchadnezzar, to glorify Iraq". This recalls the ziggurat at Ur, where each individual brick was stamped with "Ur-Nammu, king of Ur, who built the temple of Nanna". These bricks became sought after as collectors' items after the downfall of Hussein, and the ruins are no longer being restored to their original state. He also installed a huge portrait of himself and Nebuchadnezzar at the entrance to the ruins, and shored up Processional Way, a large boulevard of ancient stones, and the Lion of Babylon, a black rock sculpture about 2,600 years old.
When the Gulf War ended, Saddam wanted to build a modern palace, also over some old ruins; it was made in the pyramidal style of a Sumerian ziggurat. He named it Saddam Hill. In 2003, he was ready to begin the construction of a cable car line over Babylon when the invasion began and halted the project.
An article published in April 2006 states that UN officials and Iraqi leaders have plans for restoring Babylon, making it into a cultural center."
Babylon has not been restored for over 2,600 years. We'll see if it will ever be.
