Mmmkay so I have been eating really good the past couple months! Eating 1500-1600 calories a day, and going to the gym 1-1.5 hours 5 days a week. But it's Christmas, and the idea popped into my mind that "one day wont hurt" I know that's true, but I ate so much! I decided that I would not eat any of the food past today so I should just get what I want. I plan to go on a walk, so I hope that will help.
I ate a VERY small piece of pumpkin pie, about the size of my fist x3 of turkey, and about a medium plate full of conrbread STUFFING!
But will this mess up my metabolism? I got a whole bunch of new, smaller clothes, and I don't want them to not fit anymore!
I am 13, 5'6", and 126 pounds (doesn't sound like much but my fat accumulates it the worst places -_-)
Please don't tell me I am too young to worry, thank you.
Update:BTW I sort of 'saved up' for this meal, had 530 calories for breakfast (My mom made these special little egg things) and for my first 'meal' I had a pear (wasn't hungry anyway) then 3 hours later a banana, then a couple hours later my dinner.

Haha yes you'll be fine...I know from personal experience...today I had:
4x serving turkey
3x serving mashed potatoes
3x serving stuffing
2x serving cranberry
3 regular slices pumpkin pie
16 medium sized chocolates
Obviously this all easily came to over 2500 calories, and this was all before 1pm today...and I did not exercise today..so dont feel bad about yourself kid, just get at it tomorrow
Ok = um so I won't tell you that you are too young to worry about it - it is great that if you are eating healthy. One day shouldn't throw your metabolism out of whack - try to enjoy special occasions, though. They don't come along that often and even a good dietitian would tell you that to indulge in moderation on those occasions doesn't hurt.
You'll be fine. That shouldn't change anything in your metabolism.
Don't be so paranoid, it's Christmas!
Don't worry you'll be fine
