Looking to buy a digital camera. I'm looking for something not outrageously priced, maybe <$500, takes really clear, professional looking pictures, and something on the compact side. Not too bulky or heavy. The brand doesn't matter, just the quality.

This course has been developed after seeing many potential photographers give up far too soon, wasting good money they have spent on the purchase of their DSLR camera.
I think you can never go wrong with a canon camera. Whether it's a professional camera or a regular point-and-shoot, it's a great camera.
The professional SLR ones are great for beginners. I had a canon rebel t3i when I first started photography, and it was very user friendly and took great photos. That's a little over 500 though.
Any of the Sony Cybershot models are great, cheap and compact $100-300 on amazon.....i love mine and it actually takes better pictures than my bigger exspensive camera....get one that has 16-18 mega pixals their better
