Well im planning on going up to canada for snowboarding as a minor. And i live with my grandparents legally. So would i found this vvv
If a minor child is travelling alone:
If the child is travelling alone, the child should have a copy of his/her birth certificate as well as a letter of authorization, preferably in English or French, signed by both parents or by his/her legal guardian. The letter of authorization should give the parents’ (or legal guardian’s) address(es) and telephone number(s). It should also include the name, address and telephone number of the adult who will be responsible for the child in Canada.
But i was also wondering if i would need to bring guardian ship papers? Thanks and if that missed something please tell me. Dont want to spend alot of money then get sent home at customs.
Update:Oh yeah both of my parents died when i was young so would i need to bring death certificates?

You do need a letter of permission signed by both grandparents and notarized. you also need your birth certificate if you are15 or younger or a passport if you are 16 or older. Your grandparents should make a copy of the court order giving them custody and attach that to the letter.
