Obama would easily be my choice simply for coming across as an intelligent leader who while his convictions may be occasioanlly unpopular and occasionally unsuccessful, appears to be working to make the US and its foreign policy operate at more of an ideal than Bush.
Bush appeared from my Australian eyes to be a barely literate puppet with little care for his own country's welfare, sustainable fiscal policy or the environment, nor the image of the US abroad (and thus the Western world with it), or the lives of the countries he professed to be liberating on highly spurious evidence.
Simply put, Bush seemed a thug, Obama an idealist.
i think of Obama would desire to be doing extremely some issues in a various way and extra effective. i do no longer likely look after his healthcare plan, yet I do like that he stands up for human rights. George W. Bush dealt with the days after 9/11 especially plenty, yet some days out of an 8 year presidency isn't asserting plenty. i do no longer likely desire one over the different.
Neither ! Bush was a total dill who did what the back room boys told him to & Obama is a mouth full of talk but without substance....both of them make Clinton look good !
If Palin gets up God spare all of us .....I know that many are anti Trump because of his ego & carry on BUT at least he stands for something & has some commercial nouse .
As you might guess, I'm an Australian & we have our own political dills to deal with...
I'd prefer that they both remained in the USA. Otherwise I don't really give a damn. As the US gets the best President that money can buy, you'd think they could find somebody rather better than they have for the last thirty or so years..
Well comparing them to Clinton, all I can say is that neither saw fit to accomodate their secretary under, over & round the oval office desk.I don't care either way but I see Obama as a breath of fresh air in the white house. As you are asking this Q in the Travel/Australia section, you will probably get mostly Aussies answers
Obama might not be the best President you have had but Bush was a clown. He wasn't half as good as his father and I wouldn't recommend Bush senior either. Never mind, Bush might have been bad but I hear some Republicans are thinking of nominating Sarah Palin. If that happens, beg for someone as smart and intelligent as Bush.
From an Australian perspective (at least THIS Australian's perspective), Obama is definitely preferable. (I think generally of the two major parties in the US, the Democrats seem to be far closer to Australian values).
Seriously obamas a doosh... You can go suck a fat one. The majority of the people who answer this will probably say obama as well why even ask this question, anyone who says bush will instantly be shot down for having an opinion.
