why do guys avoid eye contact?
when i ask them a question or to do you a favor or in just casual conversations, they always avoid eye contact - and because i'm short they just look straight forward and even when they reply they don't even look at me. it's extremely upsetting! why do guys do thatt?
Update:you know, i'm not going to pick a best answer. i'm realy not. it's too difficult. sorry.

at first my answer was gonna be i think this guy likes u but then i read on and ur ? says "when i ask them" ya know plural so i'm changing my answer to they guys your talking 2 are idiots ..lol .. u got me kinda wodering though are these guys u like or are just random guys in general ..in their defense a lot of us males have short attention spans so if you girls start 2 babble on and on we start 2 get that deer in the headlights stare...its a trance like stare ..women who have been with a guy long enough recognize this. you'll soon find out .and you;ll think back to my reply/answer and say dam freddy was right!...so just try and keep the babble 2 a minimum .GET THAT GIRAFFE YET ?LOL ..cya sarah ..and yes your still in my contacts ..i try and answer yours cuz u were 1 of the first people i talked with here..sorrysolong ..guess whos the 1 babbling now lol
We'd usually have a lack of confidence in ourselves or our environment... Such as the people we'd be with at the time when talking to you, or if we were busy talking to someone else or doing something else. It could also mean that they just have a mental issue concerning eye-contact, but I hardly think any guys you'd be talking to have any such thing, it's probably confidence.
They don't want to get too intense, when you are looking at a girl they might be thinking about:
1. A body part of yours they don't want to look at.
2. A problem that makes them mad so they don't want to look mad and be looking at you.
3. Some song they can't get out of their head and they are mumbling the words so hey don't want to think they are talking to to you.
4. Another female, including maybe their mom, so they don't want to look at you they same way they look at their mom (nor do you want them to).
So we may be simple, but we have our complexities, and shouldn't be over analyzed.
Because some boys dont have balls and are cowards i am never afraid to lok a girl in the eyes.
