Okay, i see nothing wrong with giving kids birthday presents. However, children think it's the law that they have to be provided with presents. Some will even complain if they don't like their present! Yesterday, I was in class and my classmate was whining because his parents couldn't afford to buy him a present...ARE YOU KIDDING ME. I'm 15 by the way, but don't you think it's unfair that parents spent thounsands of dollars that year to keep their kids alive, and THEY expect to be rewarded for it? I don't understand.

It is because kids these days are spoiled, and used to getting whatever they want.
Wow it's nice to hear someone your age being so sensible. Surely if his parents said they couldn't afford it, he would understand, I'm like you what do kids expect these days. Way too spoilt is the problem!
