Ok, I broke up with my ex-boyfriend a week ago and ever since then he has been acting funny. After I broke that news to him and told him it was over, he got all quiet and completely shut down. I think he even started crying. I asked him if there was anything he wanted to say to me before I hung up the phone and the only thing he had to say was HE FELT PLAYED, HURT, AND LIKE HIS TIME HAD BEEN WASTED. I sked him what did he mean by that and he said is wasnt none of business since we're not together anymore. The first time he ever told me that he loved me, which was 3 days after we got together, I told him that he need not get his feelings involved to fast because our relationship aint gon' last that long 'cause Ima be moving somewhere else sooner than he think. He told me(while we were still together) that no matter what, we'll always be friends but his actions since I broke up w/ him say otherwise. What's up w/ that?

I don't think you can be mad with him because he doesn't want to be friends after you broke up with him, after-all he's probably hurting...it makes no difference that you warned him not to get emotionally involved, people just can't help it sometimes, if you want to keep him as a friend, give him some space and just be friendly and caring if and when he reaches out to you.
