ok so i got my 05 raptor 660r back from my buddies shop yesterday because it was having problems cranking and he told me that the previous owner put a gas filter in it and somthing with the filter went rong. so i drive it from his house back to mine wich is about a mile and everything is running fine. by the end of the night i had pretty much ran just enough gas out that it would run on reserve, i thought it was no big deal untill i filled the tank completley up and then its not cranking at all. is this a carberator problem? the onley reason i ask about the carberator is because at the bottom of it theres a slot that looks like a screw would go into but its not a screw port but when i rub my finger under it small amount of liquid is on my finger (i think it is gas)

You ran it on reserve, It's always best to avoid doing that because all of the dirt sitting in the bottom of fuel tank will get sucked down along with the fuel. If it's not starting now, most likely scenario is that you have a blocked Pilot Jet. Remove the float bowl from bottom of carburetor, remove Pilot Jet with flat head screwdriver, blow through Jet until you can see light through it, then re-install everything. Hopefully this will sort the problem out, if not then make sure that the float and needle valve move freely, as a stuck float will cause needle valve to stick causing it to block fuel flow off. Sometimes dirt will also get stuck in between the needle valve & its seat, so it would be good to check this to. Try not to bend the metal tang on the float, as this will alter the float height which may result in fueling problems. If still no luck, try carburetor cleaner and compressed air down the passages.
or you sucked water through
