Braces or no???
Ok here's the deal... i just turned 17 and my parents finally got the bright idea that i need braces... now the thing is i'm about to be a senior in high school and i dont really want braces my first years in college.... i know that it will pay off in the end and my confidence will boost but i cant decide... i finally became OK will my teeth but i know i would be sooooo much happier in a few years if i had that beautiful all-american smile... what should i do? should i go for the braces and get it over with???? i think thats what i'm leaning towards... help PLEASE!!!

If you have the chance to do it now, go for it! My son is 17 and he is just now getting braces, too. He is THRILLED...he has wanted them for a while...you'll love the end result and the sooner it's started, the sooner you'll be done with them.
do it now b/c if you put it off you will NEVER do it. I did it at 24 and I wished I had done it sooner.
maybe you don't have to go with braces...what about invisalign? it's a clear retainer that works just like braces. people can't see them easily and you can take them out if you absolutely have to. a little pricier than braces, but WELL worth it. check out the website. www.invisalign.com

or u could wait to get out of college and get clear ones then...

yes definitely get braces. you will be sooo thankful, and if you get them now, you don't have to pay for them!
it will be better to get it done and over with now i bet other people will have them too
