I found this online that describes EXACTLY what is wrong with my car. only i dont know where to locate this at. i tried looking and havent been able to see anything that looks like what is described.

"In the drivers footwell, on the right side, beside the gas peddle there is a white peice of plastic (circular) with a little metal arm attached at the other end, if you turn the dial that controls where the air is being directed, and then look at that plastic disc, you can see it moving, make sure the little metal arm is fully inserted into the disc, or it will not shut off, or open the vents where you have directed the air to go!"
