I don't even know where to start. My skin gets very oily during the day. It's always been like that. So, my skin gets filled with what i guess is sebum. It's like.. little white stringy things. I also get blackheads around my nose and on my chin. If i squeeze around my forehead and on my nose, sebum just comes out of everywhere, and I'm not really sure what to do about that...As for the blackheads, i basically just get the corklike centers out.. Are you even supposed to do that? There's always a bunch around my nose, they never really go away. Also, kind of off-topic but does rubbing a lemon on your skin really help get rid of acne? So i guess basically my question is..what do you think i should do? THANKS IN ADVANCE! sorry for the very long, complicated question x:

I have the same issues, and this is what I finally found that worked:
Wash with African Black soap- I got mine from amazon, the one with shea butter in it.
Toner- I use plain ole witch hazel. It's cheap, natural and found in the pharmacy.
Moisturizer- I use pure jojoba oil. Just a few drops. This replaces the skin oil you just washed away and tricks your skin into not making excessive oil.
Makeup- I use the Valley Girl foundation from L.A. Minerals. It soaks up oil, and has Allantoin to heal acne. I use a lot of their makeup cuz it's natural and doesn't irritate my skin.
For my T zone, I use L.A. Minerals Oil Control powder. It soaks up oil really well.
Hope this helps.
Sebum In Pores
There are many things that affect sebum production, but the most important ones are genes and hormones. Basically because of genes acne-prone skin is more sensitive to hormones that then increase sebum production.
There are no simple and easy solutions for this. Basically you have to address it internally and externally. Internally with diet and lifestyle you can keep the hormones under control. Externally you can reduce the sensitivity of your skin to those hormones. One thing you can apply is green tea.
