Okay, so I have been taking classes at my dance studio for about 8 or 9 years.I have been taking Summer classes at a different dance studio which is like 30 mins away and I love it there. My studio doesnt compete and the other one does. The technique, styles and teachers are just better.The only problem is..my mom refuses to take me more than like once a week...at my studio I could take like everything I basicly wanted because its close to my house and cheaper. Should I just stay at my studio right now or switch? My mom said if I stayed I could take private lessons with this girl we know who is an amazing dancer. My mom also doesnt want me leaving my friends or regretting something. I dont hate my studio or anything I just feel as if the techinque is starting to lack and stuff...what should I do? Im sooo confused =(

stay at the studio you know and love. or flip a coin and say heads new and tails old studio...
A private class could be just what you need to mend the technique problem at your studio. It depends, are you dancing for fun, or do you plan to become a dancer? Nothing says this has to be a decision you make right away. Private lessons would be amazing. I would stay but if you still feel like the studio leaves something to be desired, switch.
