DEPO PROVERA SHOT & WEIGHT GAIN?
I am on birth control pills and they are such a pain to take on time. I was thinking of switching to the depo shot because its way easier and no pills involved. Is it true that it makes you gain weight? I really dont want to get fat /: Please let me know your experiences and knowledge about the depo provera shot. Also, is it true it can cause acne? Or does it get rid of acne? thank you

Some women do experience weight gain as a side effect of getting Depo Provera, but that's also true of some women on birth control pills. It is hard to predict who will gain weight and who won't. It is not everyone by any means (again, just like birth control pills).
Talk to your doctor, of course, but I bet she will say that since both pills and Depo are hormones, you are likely to have the same weight reaction (which I guess is no reaction, in your case) with shots as you had with pills.
