Generally it's not popular in Australian communities but the Americans who lived in Australia or the Australian community who lives in America and return back to Australia for any specific reasons at the time of Thanksgiving, may be celebrate this festival.
Any festival which is popular anywhere else because of local interest so In Australia most of the places, if the local people wants to celebrate, they can celebrate Thanksgiving.
