Nobody out here on "Answers" can be "100% certain." You're dealing with a situation in a particular school district (nobody here knows which one, since you said only that you're in Ohio, which has hundreds of school districts), and you've been absent for reasons which you did not specify, so nobody here has any way of knowing whether the administration at your school will be flexible about the missed day or not. It's a bit late to be considering the problem at this point, since there is no time for you to check with anyone at the school itself to find out if the appointment will count against you or not. Since it costs money to cancel the appointment, that, too, is not a very good choice. The best course of action at this point is to discuss it with your parents and find out what they think you should do. If they suggest that you cancel the appointment, at least they won't get angry about the cost of doing so. And if they tell you to keep the appointment and miss school, and it turns out that the "doctor excuse" is not accepted and you flunk the nine weeks, it will be your parents' fault and not yours. For the future, it might be wiser to arrange things so that you don't miss classes, and if you have an appointment which is going to create a problem, take steps to deal with it much earlier rather than waiting until it's too late.
