before i was diagnosed with epilepsy? i went to a doctor who misdiagnosed me. he kept saying my problem was multiple ticks. i was 20 when i first started seeing him. he kept saying increase the medication. take as many as u want. when i was diagnosed with epilepsy at age 21 we saw another doctor who is better. is it possible the previous doctor could've over dosed me with the medication? that doctor wouldn't listen to what my mom was saying. but the new doctor is better than the previous one. i am now 23 i haven't had a seizure since i was 21.

If there were no lasting side effects from the medications the first doctor put you on, I don't think there will be much you can do.
Doctors are human and they can make a mistake. It is only when the mistake is based on negligence is it malpractice.
I recommend calling an attorney and discussing this with him/her. They may have another take on it.
