My friend had a fun one. Every girl at the shower bought the bride a pair of panties and put them each in a brown bag...then the bride had to open each one and guess who they were from. It was so much fun b/c the panties were kind of supposed to reflect which girl bought them for her!
I was highly amused by the whole creating a wedding dress out of toliet paper, the wonderful ladies that hosted my shower had a slideshow for me and all shared a couple of fun stories. Games were minimal, we had a trivia round (questions based on me and dh), the tp dress, games are a good icebreaker especially if not all guests know each other but I enjoyed just having everyone together. I also made little gift bags for all the girls who came instead of doing prizes from games to include everyone because it meant so much to me that they came
My BMs had the guests all write a memory with me on the card and I had to read it out loud and guess who it was. They had a bell (used to be my grandmother's) and every so often they rang it and the person whose gift I was opening then got a prize. I love the tp dress game. Trivia games are also fun.
The best shower games are the ones that don't happen. I despise shower games and was glad when my hostesses didn't have any. All they did was mark the bottom of a cup, send out an upside down invitation, and the person that traveled the farthest. They all got prizes and gifts to give to me.
If you do decide to do games keep them few and short!
There are so many, you could make her wear an apron and memorize everything on the apron... Hmm how well do you know the bride.. Brida bingo.. Who ever has the closet bday to the wedding date gets the centerpiece.
