Im sure most of you will find this funny but I have to ask.
Is this normal? :
Almost everytime I get my period, the very first day I start I get the weirdest pain. It feels like someone is stabbing my anus (trying to use proper terminology) and turning the knife around. It is so painful. It wakes me up in the night, I have trouble standing, its impossible to sit. I mean its not like it lasts for hours it comes and goes within the morning of my first day and thats it but still it is so painful and I dont get why I would have pain THERE of all places...
Its my uterus that is shedding not my anus!
Why is this ? Is this normal?

This can happen as just a form of normal cramps, but it can also be a sign of endometreosis so do get it checked out by a gyno
its normal to have pains on your period. more than half of the population of women get cramps. to get rid of them you need to be more active as in playing a sport or go jogging. but if you dont think what you feel is normal then go see a doctor. thats why they are there : )
Is it a hot burning pain that lasts a few seconds then stops on and off? Thats normal...but if its worse then that then you should go to the doctors.Maybe you have hemroids
is it the kind of pain that last a few seconds but makes you jump off your chair or sit straight up? if it is then i think this is normal cuz i have this and my doc said it was just cramps.
=]
I get it sometimes, I would say its normal. I have never worried about it. It makes you shoot up off your chair or wherever you are sitting. Its painful but I laugh it off & scream out *** cramp!!
Maybe it is from irritation from the blood. I'm not sure if it is normal, your best bet is to ask a trusted adult or doctor
Yeah, you might wanna talk to the doctor about that.
I agree it sounds like it might be endometriosis. You need to tell the doc, so it can be evaluated.
my friend had this and the doctor said it was just part of her cramps...but if you are worried i would go to see your doctor.
go to the doctors immediately, i don't think it's normal
