This one made me chuckle. Going to have to show it to some friends. Now, time for me to blabber on and on because I'm evil like that:

It's not an "emo poem", it's a "whining poem". If it were lyrical, I guess you would be able to classify it as emo justly, seeing as emo is a type of music. But emo isn't being depressed, or cutting your wrists, or hating life. It's a music movement that came around the eighties and now has somehow morphed into a pair of jeans and a hair cut. That's like writing a poem about shopping and gossip and asking if people liked your "preppy poem". It's all a bunch of stereotypes that everyone would be better without.

...and seriously, what is the difference between being "emo", "scene", or "punk"? I've been called all three. And goth, but I know that goth is centered mainly around religion and I think sometimes the arts as well, so I know the difference there.

umm... being emo isn't all about cutting your wrist you know. i personally don't like your poem (i'm sorry) i also despise people who make fun of people because of the way they act, look, or dress!
