Okay I have a question. I have been having weird symptoms for the last couple of months, actually since the last guy i was with. i have this discharge that doesn't smell and it is very, very, very dry and thick. it is so thick that i can take a shower in the morning and by evening it is all dry and clumpy and stuck together in little balls. it doesn't really itch but it is uncomfortable. i've tried monostat back in november and it seemed better for awhile...now it is back again. i don't know if my cycles are just doing weird things or what? my cycle is sloooowly returning to normal (whatever normal for me is, i don't know) since i went off the pill a year ago in january. i was only 19 when i went on it back in 2000 so i think my cycles were just then starting to probably get ready to regulate a bit more so now that i am off the pill i don't know what they will be like once they get to my "normal."

sounds like a yeast infection that wasnt completely cured. go to a doctor, and he/she will prescribe u antibiotics instead of monostat, and it should clear up. just like any other infection, using medicine doesnt always guarantee that its going to fully cure you.
It does sound like a yeast infection but you really can be too sure. You can buy this new kit at the drug store that test for all types of infections. It is color coded to indicate what is wrong. Check it out. I know that it is sold at Target and Walmart around the Monistat.
If you have not been tested for STD's, get an appointment and get tested. Many std's (or sti's as they are now called) can be fixed with antibiotics.
