This excerpt from an AP article made me think of this:
But beyond that, Obama also is hitting the right notes with Europeans on issues that matter to them. Thursday's Berlin stop offers him a chance to reinforce that impression in a city where John F. Kennedy, Ronald Reagan and Bill Clinton all made famous speeches.

Sure.
Whereas John F. Kennedy gave us, "Ask not what your country can do for you, ask what you can do for your country," George Bush gave us:
"Fool me once, shame on — shame on you. Fool me... ...you... ...you can't get fooled again."
And with that statement, Bush walked (or rather, stumbled) into immortality.
Just goes to show what state our country is in. President's signing autographs in the Halls of Congress? I would like to know the reference citing is for all those that state that a great many of our former president's signed autographs in Congress, or anywhere else for that matter.....and the modern last four president's don't count since they have hardly been representatives of the people who actually in their actions despised the very government the founder's fought and died for. Washington insisted on the term "Mr. President," and those that ban an "titles of nobility," and would be apalled at what passes for acceptable presidential behavior today. Just apalled.

Obviously you have forgotten the last few days of September seven years ago.
He most certainly has. I watch Morning Joe and they do a segment called great moments in presidential speeches. Rather then explain, watch for yourself. Type in great moments in presidential speeches on you tube and then decide for yourself.
For some reason or other this site will not allow me to post links and I had to re-word my answer to get it to post.
The one where is lied about Iraq acquiring yellow cake from Niger (State of the Union speech, 2003). And the one where he declared his empathy with those who are finding it difficult "to put food on your family".
I was watching FOX News and they credited him with “some of the most eloquent and visionary speeches ever delivered by an American President”.
So THERE!!!!!!
Did you forget about the speech he did at the sight of the towers? That was a very good speech, and he didn't let one tear drop fall either. What does it matter what he says in Europe anyways, they can't vote for him.
Thank you Tony H (Two answers down)
Li'l Bush is a moron - but apparently he's "folksy" if you like drunks.
Clinton mentioned Bush's "Compassionate Conservative" speech.. But I never saw it. I guess it was a high point in smooth, sweet republican lies.
Oh he's made some interesting speeches....but usually you don't know what the heck he's talking about.
His brain and his tongue don't work well together.
"Mission Accomplished", "The Axes of Evil". Those were the major ones I could think of.
