From the census of 1980 to 2000 there was a 325% increase in the population. They believe this escalation is due to the rise in job opportunities. It is to be considered, that from 1990 to 2020 jobs opportunities will increase from 10,383 to 56,000. With all the increment in population, they also had to raise the number of housing units. Out of the 8,670 housing units, 8,093 are actually occupied. That is 93% of housing that is in use.
