hi i have always had irregular periods but the last few months they have been become regular..i am allergic to the contraceptive pill so i use no birth control im 20 and have an active sex life with my bf he is 25 ..last month i noticed after sex when i urinate and wipe with tissue there would be very very light blood on the tissue we do have rough sex sometimes..i got my period on the 24th of september till around the 29th..then i was on holidays and i got up that morning and went into the toilet and i had my period again this time it was so heavy i could not get off the toilet i could not stop bleeding..that period only lasted about 2-3 days..today i have period like cramps and every time i stand up i get stabbing pains on the side of my stomach..should i go to the hospital?

First of all, if you're having sex but not using hormonal birth control, you need to be using condoms. It doesn't matter what age your boyfriend is -- if you don't want to get pregnant, you need to use some sort of birth control (the pull out method doesn't count!).
If you had a period for a few days that was so heavy that you couldn't get off of the toilet and were bleeding very heavily (enough to soak through a thick pad or Super absorbency tampon every hour for several hours or more), you need to call your healthcare provider. Especially if now you're having cramps and stabbing pains. Just call your doctor's office and tell them what's going on. They'll tell you whether you need to go to the hospital or just come in to the office/clinic.
I wouldn't say hospital because they're probably just going to tell you to follow up with your gyno. So just forego the waste of time at the hospital and make an appt with your gyno, hopefully he/she can help you in finding an option that works for you.
No, that's really not a hospital matter. More a visit to the doctors.
