I am just curious to how one can become a premier in B.C.
I think I learned it a little bit in high school, but I didn't learn the exact steps to it.
Does anyone know how one steps up to a premier? I am not even sure if the spelling is correct.
Do you have to be a Canadian-born or simply a citizen? Do you have to speak French and English fluently like the PM?

1 . You become the leader of a major political party in BC. You have usually given that party some years of service, holding responsible positions such as a cabinet post, if the party is in power. You are usually elected by registered party members at a convention.
2. If the party is in power, you automatically become Premier. If not, you become Premier if and when the party wins a provincial election while you are leader. You remain Premier until a) you resign or b) your party loses a provincial election,
