Sometimes if we are having a hard time being commited to a situation, the cause could be that it is not a situation we are wanting to be in. Maybe you should think about a career move, as this sounds as if you are bored and unmotivative at your job due to lack of satifaction and fulfillment.

Managers who expect employees to demonstrate committment while meting out inconsistent discipline and plotting layoffs are in for a rude awakening. employees who expect managers to provide them with training and career opportunities while they are making copies of their resumes and surfing the net all day aren't demonstrating the committment they expect to be offered.
Of course, the flip side is when you have individuals or teams who are loyal and committed and competent, and those qualities aren't valued or rewarded over time. In that case, it's time to find a company or employees who DO value those attributes.
